Mashabim Holiday Village is located in the south of Israel, at Kibbutz Mashabei Sadeh. It offers guests an authentic kibbutz-style experience and a relaxing escape from everyday life, surrounded by the tranquility and power of the desert landscape.
The village includes 82 rural guest rooms spread among well-tended lawns, many of them overlooking the desert views. Guests enjoy playgrounds, shaded seating areas in nature, barbecue areas, and a covered swimming pool that operates year-round.
Located on Route 40, between Be’er Sheva and Mitzpe Ramon, Mashabim Holiday Village is an ideal base for exploring the region. Nearby activities include off-road and jeep tours, cycling routes, camel rides, authentic Bedouin hospitality, and more.
There is ample parking on site and Wi-Fi in all rooms. The outdoor pool is open from June to October, as well as on holidays such as Hanukkah, Purim, Passover, Independence Day, and Shavuot. In winter, guests should check pool opening times with reception.
The swimming pool is covered and semi-Olympic in size, overlooking impressive desert scenery and offering a calm, peaceful atmosphere. In summer, the sides of the pool are opened; it is shaded and surrounded by large lawns, comfortable seating, and shaded areas. In winter, the pool does not operate on a regular schedule and opens only by special request or on certain holidays such as Hanukkah and Purim. The pool area includes convenient changing rooms and restrooms.
The dining room at Mashabim Holiday Village serves a rich and varied Israeli breakfast. Lunch and dinner are also available by prior arrangement. These meals are meat-based, served buffet-style. The dining room is kosher and suitable for up to 200 diners.
The complex includes several meeting halls, the largest accommodating up to 100 people. All halls are equipped with tables, chairs, and a screen; some also have a projector and sound system. They are suitable for conferences, lectures, and group activities. Groups that require a synagogue space may use these halls by prior arrangement (there is no permanent synagogue on-site, but there is a Torah scroll).
Spacious lawns are spread throughout the complex between the various accommodation buildings. Numerous barbecue areas are available for guests’ use; some include sinks. Please note that the guest rooms do not have kitchenettes or kitchenware.
Within the kibbutz grounds there are children’s playgrounds and a cowshed that guests are welcome to visit.
