Originally established in 1850 as the Haifa Hotel, Shirat Hayam has a rich history. In 1925, it expanded and became one of Tiberias' first hotels.
Once visited by the renowned singer Umm Kol-Tom, it was renamed "The Star of the East." Artists like Shimshon Holtzman and Nahum Gutman have found inspiration here, leaving their creative mark on the hotel.
After careful restoration, Shirat Hayam now offers a harmonious blend of old-world charm and modern comforts, with breathtaking views of the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Mountains.
