Situated amidst the serene and blossoming landscape, Kibbutz Eilot thrives peacefully between the Adom and Eilat mountains, a mere three-minute drive from Eilat Bay. Established during Hanukkah in 1962, this kibbutz emerged through the efforts of a group of young men who had ventured to the Umm Rasarsh police station years prior, driven by their aspiration to settle uncharted territories.
Over the span of more than six decades, the once-sandy hill, exposed to the relentless winds of the desert, has undergone a remarkable transformation into a vibrant green garden teeming with life. Kibbutz Eilot proudly harbors a community that upholds the cooperative way of life and flourishes through a developed agricultural economy that endures to this day.
Presently, approximately 120 members reside in the kibbutz, cherishing their affiliation as members of the "southernmost kibbutz in the world." As you step foot onto the kibbutz, you will swiftly sense a divergence in the rhythm of life, transporting you to a distinct temporal realm.
