Next to the historic building, a new wing has been built with 120 elegant rooms featuring fine wood finishes, including spacious rooms and suites for couples and families seeking exceptional hospitality. The hotel is named after the mother of the owner, Mr. Reuven Sarugo. Sophia journeyed from Damascus, Syria, to Argentina to meet her future husband, whom she had never met before. On her way, she stopped by Lake Tiberias – a moment memorialized in the hotel’s name.
