It consists
of three fabulously shaped buildings - a round building, a triangle
building and a square one (the latter is still under construction).
The observatory is at the top of the round building, offering great
panoramic views of Tel-Aviv, Jaffa, the surrounding cities and the
magnificent Mediterranean (on a clear day you can see as far as
Jerusalem and Haifa).
The marvelous landscape is reflected from 84 large windows, and
a full description of major observed landmarks is given by a vocal
guidance system. At the observatory you can also enjoy the improved
telescopes, the Internet positions and the highest cafe in the country.
Getting to Azrieli Center is by bus No 63 from Dizengoff Street
area, and the entrance to the observatory is via the third floor
inside Azrieli mall. Admission is 20NIS paid at the reception desk,
from where you are taken up in a fast-speed elevator, which feels
like being on a plane on takeoff…
