All "special" taxi fares are governed by a meter, which operates according to: Tariff 1 - 5:30 am to 8:59 pm Tariff 2 - 9:00 pm to 5:29 am When starting a journey, the driver is obligated by law to activate the meter. Upon your request, the driver must give you an official receipt printed by electronic meter. In the event you wish to lodge a complaint regarding traveling by taxi, please contact the nearest Government Tourist Informatin Office, or the ministry of Transport.
