Location:
The location - EXCELLENT! (unless you enjoy the noisy, sleazy
downtown with police sirens and massage parlors).
We are located in the old, atmospheric part of town, in
the middle of Jaffa's Oriental Bazaar - lively during the
day, quiet at night and within walking
distance to anything you need in the big city.
It is next to Tel-Aviv's most beautiful beaches and close
to restored Old Jaffa and the old harbor.
Around the hostel there is a big choice of eating places who
cater mainly to the locals and therefore are authentic and significaly
cheaper than the ones in Tel-Aviv. Generally speaking - you are less likely
to fall into a tourist trap in Jaffa and if you want to do some shopping
- cloths, souvenirs exc. The 'Flea Market' is the cheapest place to do
so.
Jaffa is also one of the few places in Israel where you
can see Jews and Arabs living together in harmony.
