The Menachem Begin Heritage Center is an official state memorial project in commemoration of Israel's 6th Prime Minister, Menachem Begin. The center is a living memorial and the nation's tribute to a courageous fighter and fearless leader who worked for the freedom, future and security of the Jewish People in its own land. The Center is built on the Hinnom Ridge, overlooking the old city of Jerusalem and offers a museum, library, archives and lectures on Menachem Begin and his legacy, as well as an advance auditorium and seminar facilities that can be rented for private events.

2. The Jerusalem Time Elevator – a fascinating journey through Jerusalem's history

3. Mishkenot Sha'ananim
The first Jewish community built outside the walls of the Old City by Sir Moses Montefiore. Today, following a wide range of renovations and expansions, Mishkenot Sha'ananim houses a guest house, art gallery, restaurant, and conference center. The area is one of the most pivotal centers of music, art and recitals in Israel.

4. The Tower of David
An ancient citadel turned city Icon. The Tower of David is a unique museum displaying the history of Jerusalem from the days of Kind David throughout the establishment of the State of Israel. The breathtaking view from the height of the tower lays out the Old City along with its quarters on one side, and the modern city on the other. The museum also offers an animated film surveying 3000 years of history in only ten minutes.

5. Mount of Olives Observation Point
The Mount of Olives observation point is probably the most beautiful view of Jerusalem, demonstrating the essence of the expression “Jerusalem of Gold”. The unique location offers spectacular views of the Temple Mount, Kidron Valley, City of David and Armon Hanatziv. The Mount of Olive Jewish Cemetery lies at the foot of the observation point, where many notable people are buried, and has great significance in the Jewish tradition.

6. The Jerusalem Nature Museum
The museum shows a variety of displays in different areas of natural and environmental sciences and the human body. Remarkable is the fowl, mammal and reptiles of the country integrated in Dioramas (recreations of the habitat). A large section is dedicated to special displays on dinosaurs, their eggs, footprints, teeth and bones. 7. The Jewish Quarter
The main road in Roman, the shops are from the times of the Crusades, the walls are from the First Temple, the homes are from the 19th century and the synagogues are from the 17th and 18th century. Every step is a journey between eras, stories and legends in the newly renovated Jewish Quarter. The central plaza located by the Cardo houses the well-known Ramban Synagogue as well as four other Sephardic synagogues and is walking distance from the Church of the Holy Resurrection.

8. The Israel Museum Jerusalem
The largest and most significant museum in Israel is also the leading cultural institution in Israel. Located in Givat Ram, the Israel Museum is one of the ten largest encyclopedic museums in the world and displays exhibits in archeology, anthropology, Judaica, Israeli art and international art. The museum has 5 sections, the most familiar and outstanding one being the famous Shrine of the Book which is home to some of the rarest archeology discoveries of our time such as the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient manuscripts.

Dining and Entertainment in Jerusalem
Shlomzion St. is considered one of the “hottest” spots out there when it comes to excellent restaurants, bars, and unique eateries. When looking for a good steak, Talpiot is the place to be. The Nachalat Shiva area has the romantic atmosphere, with a wide variety of unique restaurants. Many of the Jerusalem restaurants are Kosher.

Culture in Jerusalem
The old train station in Jerusalem, between Derech Beit Lechem St. and Derech Chevron St. is becoming the heart of the city’s culture life, housing the famous “laboratory” – the new center for performing arts which really is a laboratory for young talents and the new cultural pastime. The Khan Theatre was inaugurated in 1968 by Tedi Kolek, then Mayor of Jerusalem and is the only creating repertory theatre in Jerusalem.
