Welcome to Ein Gedi Country Hotel

WHY EIN GEDI?

Ein Gedi Country is located in the Judean Desert on a plateau, lush with wild beauty overlooking the Dead Sea – the lowest place on earth.

An oasis, whose beauty exudes vibrant hues of green, red, blue and yellow, a small slice of heaven, encompassing treasures created by members of the community with only a magical paradise in mind,

A visit to Ein Gedi Country immediately instills peace and tranquility to any visitor. The Botanical Garden displays an abundance of flora whilst caressing the shores of the salty sea, entrapping a festival of light and colour and encouraging the visitor's senses to actually sharpen.

Archaeological treasures surround Ein Gedi almost as protection. To the south 'Massada' – a fascinating cultural treasure and a symbol of heroism for the Jewish people, and to the north the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. Right on the doorstep the Byzantine Synagogue boasting an undamaged beautiful mosaic floor with inscriptions relating to the people of the period.

Air that’s pollution free, 330 sunny days annually, dry, high oxygen levels, low UV rays all add up to 'HEALTH'. -420 metres below sea level, Ein Gedi captures the sense of serenity and encourages the visitor to simply relax and enjoy. A real recipe for well-being.

Despite the dry atmosphere water is a major element in this small corner of the globe. Nature Reserves with gushing waterfalls, Ein Gedi Spa with natural, hot, sulphur water pools and, of course, the Dead Sea. Three totally different types of water, three different forms of enjoyment and three different health aspects. In short:

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE- YOUNG AND OLD

As visitors walk through the gardens of the kibbutz they will come to understand the distinctive relationship that guests of the 'Country Hotel' have with the area. A guest will feel part of what is almost a miracle. Man gave birth to a way of life - bounteous nature, whilst residing in a great, impressive and somewhat formidable desert.

WHY EIN GEDI? 'Atmosphere' That's why.
