The data protection system in our website is fully encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol - an industry standard for encryption over the Internet, to protect the Data. When you type in sensitive information such as credit card details, it will be automatically converted into codes before being securely dispatched over the Internet.
SSL protocol separates the names of existing customers in the system from their credit card numbers and stores them in two separate locations. It then jumbles up the numbers (card numbers, effective dates, ID numbers) and inverts them into a series of unintelligible signs, letters and numbers which can only be decoded by authorized users.
For your information: Credit card numbers entered in our website by you can only be used by us in order to guarantee online reservations made by you.
As an additional means of security, credit card details are stringently checked with the credit company for each and every purchase, in order to avoid misunderstandings or misuse of credit cards. We would like to stress that, according to law, when a credit card is misused (i.e. used by an unauthorized party), the credit card owner will not be responsible for any activities performed and the issuer is committed to repaying him in full within 30 days.
To maintain the accuracy of the Data, as well as preventing from unauthorized access and ensuring the correct use of the Data, we have carried out appropriate physical, electronic and managerial measures to safeguard and secure the Data we collect online.
The website has a firewall in place, which should protect the Data collected from you against unauthorized or accidental access. However, complete confidentiality and security is not yet possible over the Internet, and privacy cannot be assured in your communications to us. You acknowledge that personal information is disclosed at your own risk, and may be subject to unauthorized use by others. This may result in you receiving unsolicited messages from other parties. We are not responsible in any manner for direct, indirect, special or consequential damages, howsoever caused arising out of the communication of information to us.
